Two years ago I suffered from hypoglycemia at Detroit International Airport and was taken to hospital for a few hours. Unfortunately I had no insurance and was eventually presented with a bill for $4,777 for X-rays and pain killers (I broke 3 ribs and my wrist for which little treatment was offered). I was in no position to pay for the teatment and the hospital decided to take no further action but they did warn me that I would not be allowed entry back into the USA whilst the bill was unpaid. Can anybody tell me if this is true, please?
