How to Immigrate to the United States

If you check the processing centers work load on the immigration website that show 7 or 8 months waiting for finance visa but the same center is processing H1B worker visas in 1 or 2 months? If they claim they don’t have enough resources then why dont they take longer for these job stealing visas? Who is more important? US citizens or Multinational corporations desire for cheap labor? What can we do about this?

I have to spend the night in Houston and leave the next day for Central America. Do I need special forms. I hold a British passport. I have heard stories that pregnant women have problems entering the US because immigration fear women will want to have their babies in the US. I have checked with the airline and the website says I can fly up to 7 months.
