you were granted an immigrant visa by the US Immigration because you lied,if they found out what will happen?

on their interview with the consul they stated that their petitioner is still alive but its not.petitioner died already a year ago before the interview happen.I know this is fraud or perjury,i think so what will happen if US Immigration found out that you lied to them?
